Check out this Hydro Flask Beer Growler, We’ve got two of these, one for each car, to make sure we’ve always got a growler to fill when we’re visiting breweries. They’re also great for car camping, golfing, concerts/events that don’t allow glass bottles… pretty much anywhere you’d want cold beer. They really do keep cold beer cold for a long time. We filled one up in the morning, paddled out into Saranac Lake, and about 12 hours later poured out some still cold beer.
The only real downside to these is that some breweries won’t fill them due to local regulations. Worst case scenario, if a place won’t fill one of these, you’ll just have to buy a growler from the brewery.
